WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Planning and conceptual design of the network infrastructure, taking into account internal customer requirements at Rheinmetall Group sites.
- Responsibility for the control, monitoring and capacity management of the network infrastructure to ensure trouble-free operation
- Analysis and sustainable elimination of faults within the scope of 3rd level support
- Management of sub-projects as part of the further development of existing network infrastructures
- Communication with suppliers and manufacturers to evaluate and implement the optimal solution with regard to internal requirements
- Close cooperation with internal stakeholders to take into account internal standards and specifications, e.g. through IT security
The position can be filled at the locations Berlin, Unterlüß, Bremen and Kiel.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science, business informatics or comparable training with corresponding professional experience
- Relevant experience in the area of TCP/IP networking (LAN, WLAN, routing)
- In-depth knowledge of monitoring and ensuring trouble-free operation of the network infrastructure as well as troubleshooting of network components
- Profound experience in the design and evaluation of future network structures taking into account business requirements in a corporate environment
- Experience in project management and coordination of internal and external resources in an international environment
- Knowledge in the implementation of IT security relevant technologies in the network environment
- Vendor-specific certifications are desirable (CCNP, JNCIP or comparable)
- Very good written and spoken English skills as well as a basic willingness to travel
- Very good conceptual and analytical skills as well as assertiveness
