The Global Tire Logistics - Warehousing & Distribution department at our site in Hanover-Stöcken is responsible for the tactical and strategic organisation of global tire logistics.

In this exciting environment, we are offering a mandatory internship with the subsequent option of a thesis at the earliest possible start date. For the best possible learning experience, the internship should last 4–6 months. The focus of the activity is on supporting our team in various projects and in day-to-day business.

The tasks include the following activities:

• Collaboration in global process optimisation and automation projects in the warehouse and supply chain area
• Support with international tenders
• Implementing, updating and analysing supply chain reports
• Supporting the implementation of logistical quality requirements and various quality projects in the warehouse area
• Support with internal logistics audits in accordance with international standards
• Collecting data in collaboration with international teams
• Creating and presenting documents suitable for management

• Students in the fields of business administration, industrial engineering, economics or comparable subjects
• Ideally with a focus/specialisation in logistics, supply chain and/or transportation
• Basic experience in logistics
• Confident handling of MS Office-programmes
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English and German language
• Analytical thinking and good numerical skills
• Independent working style, high level of commitment, flexibility and creativity
• Ability to work in a team, with good organisational and communication skills
