Are you patient, persuasive, and passionate about user experience? Excited about working with diverse stakeholders at trivago? Join us as a User Support Operator intern at trivago! You'll get hands-on experience to be the user's advocate and build trust in the trivago brand. In return, you'll work on a global platform with an international team in a dynamic environment. How you'll make an impact:

• Answer user requests and provide the best possible support through Email or Help Center Requests using our CRM tool, Zendesk
• Answer user requests from foreign countries with the help of our translation tools
• Improve trivago's product by investigating, reporting and fixing issues/ bugs reported by users
• Gather and categorize user feedback and channel it to the relevant departments
• Explore and understand the issues faced by our users and find a solution by collaborating with different stakeholders within trivago
• Collaborate on and support various initiatives to improve our operations and processes

What you'll learn:

• How to enhance your problem-solving abilities by investigating and resolving issues for users.
• Technical and industry knowledge to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues

What you'll need to thrive:

• Availability for a full-time, 6-month internship based at our campus in Düsseldorf, Germany
• Excellent and fluent written and verbal communication in English (our company language)
• The ability to be empathetic and put yourself in the user's position
• Persuasiveness in order to change negative experiences by offering user oriented solutions
• A sociable and proactive person that can work both independently and in a team

Stand out with:

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus
• Any additional language
