At IAV, audio signal processing for infotainment systems of the future is being developed in the Sound, Audio & Voice Functions area. The focus is on the development and tuning of signal processing algorithms for entertainment, emergency call systems and telephony as well as speech recognition for voice assistants. As a working student, you will support us in developing voice control in vehicles and thus gain deep insights into relevant development methods and tools in the automotive audio environment.
Your Tasks:

You will familiarize yourself with the Meshfree software

You model and simulate special two-phase flow processes

You examine the influences of various physical parameters on the simulation results

You design and build a test bench to validate the results

You will develop physical approaches that can be used to simulate the removal of dirt from surfaces (camera lenses and LiDAR sensors)

You model these approaches in Meshfree

You will design an initial simplified sensor cleaning system and further develop the test bench
Necessary Skills:

Study mechanical engineering, physics or a similar technical and scientific subject

Very well developed technical and physical understanding
