In this position, you will be the expert in designing technical solutions, competitive bids, estimates and quotes to panel builders for electrical low voltage switchgear applications such as main & sub distributions or metering boards for industrial, residential or data center projects in EL sales organization in Germany. In this role your attention to detail and ability to negotiate with multiple partners will be vital to support the customer journey and this key component of project planning.

Your responsibilities

• Ensuring timely and accurate creation of quotation documents through coordination with relevant stakeholders
• Managing all aspects of the bid — including technical, financial, product management and risk reviews
• Coordinating customer orders with the factory in Sasbach and Customer Service Team in Heidelberg to support the production and delivery process
• Providing advice on technical solutions, products, systems and applications through the ABB low voltage product portfolio
• Contributing to an effective, positive customer relationship throughout the sales process
• Examining and reporting on the results of tenders and identifying areas for improvement to increase success

Your background

• >5 years of experience in planning, engineering and calculation of low voltage switchgear and energy distribution solutions
• Working in a panel builder shop as technician with product knowledge in planning and assembly of devices and enclosures
• Knowledge of engineering software tools such as PDC, e-configure enclosures, EDS PowerCon and software SAP, Office 365, Salesforce
• A professional education as electrician with extended education
• German fluent in speaking and writing, English advanced in speaking and writing
