In cooperation with the local Product Marketing Motorstarting and Safety of the Smart Power Division (Heidelberg/Germany) you will be responsible for the implementation of the product marketing strategy in coordination with the global product strategy. Among other things, you will coordinate sales activities, events and market research to achieve business targets and increase market share.

Your responsibilities

• You will define and implement the local go-to-market strategy and selected marketing activities.
• You will support the regional sales organizations North-Central Germany in promoting sales and service for the respective switching technology products (contactors and motor-protective circuit-breakers), and provide relevant materials for them.
• You will define appropriate forecasts and create business/marketing plans with a focus on business development in conjunction with solution concepts.
• You evaluate and pass on the knowledge gained about customer requirements, market conditions and market observations.
• You increase sales efficiency with the help of appropriate product information and training of the sales team (technical and sales).

Your background

• At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of automation and electronics and work as a product manager, product developer or sales representative for electronic products
• Proven professional experience with Enterprise Resource Planning and Standard Operating Procedures
• Bachelor's degree or advanced technical training, ideally in electrical engineering
• A team-oriented, solution-oriented way of working and very good written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English and German
