A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Production Engineer (f/m/d) at the Innovation Center Berlin, you will lead interdisciplinary teams and significantly drive the exchange between domain experts, management, corporate functions and customers in order to take innovations to a new level. With your expertise in production technologies and your domain competence in digitalization technologies and the energy sector, you will drive the industrialization and commercialization of new products, services and solutions. Within your projects, you ensure quality and requirements management and the satisfaction of all stakeholders. You drive innovation forward independently with your creativity and expertise. You will develop new energy transformation solutions for a more sustainable world.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Project manager of your own innovation projects
- Integration of new manufacturing technologies and the quality assurance of projects and processes using quality assurance methods such as SixSigma and total quality management
- Main contact person for the customer and responsibility for technical solutions, calculation, planning and reporting
- Prepare and lead customer meetings to achieve win-win solutions for customer satisfaction
- Perform risk assessment and -prevention including project and change management
- Contributing to the solution of cross-project problems and strategic approaches
- Drive process quality improvements by identifying, resolving and highlighting projects assigned to the department
What You Bring
- Completed Master's degree or equivalent experience in production engineering with a specialization in production management and a focus on quality management, as well as basic knowledge of economical engineering
- Broad specialist knowledge in the field of new production technologies, including in-depth expertise in additive manufacturing technologies and augmented reality
- Over 5 years of experience as a working student in the energy sector, including independent project coordination, workshop management, digitalization and customer management
- A creative, motivated and committed attitude that encourages "out of the box thinking"
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Advanced knowledge of the following software: Microsoft Office, CAD (Inventor, FDS, Solid Edge), Camtasia
