Hankook Tire Europe Technical Center (ETC) based in Hanover, Germany is one of Hankook Tire’s five global R&D centers (along with Korea, United States, Japan, China) and is responsible for the development and testing of tire solutions for European road conditions - working together with premium European vehicle manufacturers. Indoor test operations and quality control for European tire production in Hungary are also controlled by ETC.

The following full-time position is to be filled from now at our OE Department in Hanover, Germany:

Automotive Engineer for OEM (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring seamless communication and information flow.
• Oversee and manage various projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Organize and lead technical meetings and manage all testing activities to ensure project requirements are met.
• Provide ongoing supervision and support for existing projects to ensure continued success and client satisfaction.
• Actively work on expanding business relations and identifying new opportunities for growth.
• Act as the interface between OEMs and internal stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed.
• Lead and stay updated on automotive technical trends, implementing best practices and innovative solutions within the company.

Your profile

• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Engineer in the tire industry.
• You possess a strong technical background (highly desirable).
• You have a proven track record of success in expanding business areas and developing new opportunities.
• You have experience in managing projects effectively.
• You speak fluent English and Italian.
• You are willing to travel frequently to Italy.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with clients and internal teams.
