What you`ll do

Summary:

As a Supplier Associate/Specialist (f/m/d) within the GCS Partner & Workforce Management team, you will develop and take responsibility for the following tasks:

• Understand, summarize, and consolidate GSC category infrastructure demand, budget planning and specific requirements
• Support the selection and definition of the strategic partner & supplier ecosystem
• Support the day-to-day GCS supplier management and take accountability of managing one or more major global Partner to ensure service delivery. Monitor supplier performance by establishing relevant KPI measures in alignment with relevant L2 units
• Evolve and develop the partner/supplier portfolio and the relevant governance/account management for specific categories or services
• Review cost, efficiency and performance of respective suppliers including relevant market check / benchmarking of all services
• Foster overall vendor management process maturity in close alignment with procurement, delivery & service management and portfolio management
• Work with our sales and market units to define a suitable partner play to cover specific markets
• Build communication and prioritization demand “bridge” to the functional units
• Establish close relationship with all stakeholders driving GCS future strategic Partner roadmap

What you bring

• 2+ years of related professional experience
• Experience in actively working with a vendor/supplier relationship
• Strong affinity for networking and building lasting relationships with partners
• Interested learning of cloud infrastructure and service models
• Good communication skills with the ability to express and present complex matters in a crisp and easy consumable fashion, ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships across functions, levels and geographies, internally and externally.
• Ability to challenge status quo and drive innovation
• Good analytical skills & ability to understand technical / business processes
