Zu den Aufgaben gehören die Bearbeitung von US-Pässen, die Dateneingabe in die Computersysteme der Abteilung, die Überprüfung von Dokumenten sowie die Beratung von Antragstellern. Gesucht wird ein Mitarbeiter mit Erfahrung im Büro und im Umgang mit Publikum, sowie fließenden Deutsch- und Englischkenntnissen. Die Stelle ist unbefristet und in Vollzeit. The work schedule for this position is:
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
Join our team as a Passport and Citizenship Assistant! In this role, you'll be a key member of the passport and citizenship unit, delivering essential services to the public. Your responsibilities will include processing and preparing U.S. passports and accurately entering data into our computer systems. You'll also review and analyze submitted documentation, interview applicants, and guide them through the required forms.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of two years of progressively responsible office experience is essential, with a focus on applying regulatory material and engaging with the public.
Successful completion of Secondary School is required.
LANGUAGE:
Fluency in both German and English (speaking/reading) is a must.
