At Keysight Design Engineering Software (DES), we create electronic design automation (EDA) tools that empower engineers to develop advanced high-frequency circuits and systems. We are currently looking for a talented R&D Software Engineer to join our circuit simulation team and help shape the next generation of RF and mixed-signal electronic systems.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and maintain high-performance software using C++, Rust, and Python.
• Develop innovative product features and engineering infrastructure for circuit simulation tools.
• Architect and optimize build systems, dependency management, and CI/CD pipelines for Linux and Windows.
• Create automation tools to enhance software quality and engineering productivity.
• Implement desktop user interface components and internal engineering applications.
• Refine developer workflows through IDE integration and tooling enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects and product management, throughout the development lifecycle.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in software development.
• Advanced programming skills in C++, Rust, and Python.
• Deep understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in debugging complex systems.

Preferred Skills

• Practical experience in Python packaging and build automation.
• Knowledge of C++ compiler and linker configurations on various platforms.
• Experience with build systems like CMake, Bazel, or Ninja.
• Familiarity with UI frameworks such as Qt.
• Background in scientific, engineering, or EDA software development.
