We, the PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) team, pursue the goal of providing our customers throughout the DB Group with trustworthy digital identities and a security infrastructure that enables services for the secure and binding exchange of data.

Your profile:
We are looking for you as Senior Specialist Public Key Infrastructure (f/m/d) for DB Systel GmbH located in Berlin, Erfurt or Frankfurt (Main) as soon as possible.
We, the PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) team, pursue the goal of providing our customers throughout the DB Group with trustworthy digital identities and a security infrastructure that enables services for the secure and binding exchange of data.
Your tasks:
- You ensure the ongoing operation of the PKI system landscape by taking on operational management and development using in-depth specialist knowledge of the technologies and processes used, such as CA lifecycle
- The independent development and adaptation of the PKI systems to future customer requirements is your area of responsibility
- The development of operational-, and test concepts, the implementation of (software) tests and the acceptance of the developed solutions for the PKI service is in your hands
- You advise customers on the integration of new PKI applications including documentation of process flows and interface agreements within the framework of comprehensive projects
- You also provide 2nd and 3rd-level support- by proactively analyzing systematic error patterns and developing solutions, you contribute to stable operations
- Carrying out operational management tasks using ITIL processes for incident and change management is also part of your area of responsibility
Your profile:
- The basis of your career is a completed (technical) university degree in computer science or comparable professional experience in the field of information technology/computer science with a recognizable focus on IT security
- As an expert, you can demonstrate several years of experience in the provision, maintenance, and support of PKI and associated systems
- You are also very good at dealing with Windows Server & Client (administration) as well as PowerShell (scripting), automation, ITIL basics, cloud technologies (Amazon Web Services & Microsoft Azure), and infrastructure as code
- Ideally, you have knowledge in the areas: REST API, design, structure and operation of hardware security modules and a DevOps mindset
- You have technical affinity and enthusiasm for IT security, and you want to drive developments in this area
- The willingness to participate in on-call services as well as excellent English and conversational German skills complete your profile
