Social Media Specialist (m/f/d)
Location: Berlin, Germany
This role is in Marketing Communications department. You are responsible for the end consumer activation and communication mainly via own channels
You increase brand awareness across all audience groups, product awareness to defined target audiences and the brand relevance to the Generation Z audience. You improve engagement and increase number of followers on key SM accounts. Be relevant in embracing trends and making the Sony brand appealing based on data driven PDCA.
You will:
- Activate Sony campaigns on own channels
- Sony social media channel: lead, plan, create, activate, evaluate, optimise organic activations on Sony own channels (FB/ IG/ YT/ Twitter)
- Develop social media accounts to the next level and focus on customer engagement esp. via influencer activations (IGC) and steer consumer deeper through the funnel (establish social media shopping tools, link to D2C)
- Analyse and invest marketing budget for social channel (push & influencer marketing campaigns)
- Analyse data reporting and draw conclusions for the future from it (customer social data)
- A&P budget governance for own projects
You will have:
- University degree (BA or MA) or completed vocational training
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong willingness and ability to quickly learn new areas of responsibility
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills in order to convince both internal and external relevant stakeholders
- Analytical competence (PDCA method, social listening skills)
- Data literacy to be able to connect MarCom KPI results and customer insights to business direction
- High flexibility to adapt to fast and constantly changing business situations, to work under pressure and to deliver qualitative
- Proactive and customer-oriented approach
- Results oriented and efficient approach to work
- Basic knowledge of product marketing
- Good understanding of marketing communication and branding
- At least 2 years of work experience in a social media related role, ideally in consumer electronics
- Languages: German –on native level; English - business fluent
- Excellent MS-Office skills, especially PowerPoint, Excel
