Who You Are

We are looking for a motivated Working Student with a passion for Reporting and Analysis to support our Corporate Reporting team. In this role, you will be in collaboration with data teams spanning the Verve Group ecosystem. You will be mainly focusing on data from operations, business, and finance, with an emphasis on revenue figures.

You'll receive support from experienced professionals across different areas and actively participate in projects aimed at improving data mapping, accuracy, automation, and transitions between data states. Your role will be instrumental in enhancing our data-driven processes.

Please note that we are only able to offer the position to an active student currently enrolled at a German university.

We are looking for working students for a minimum of 6 months, preferably for one year or longer.

You can work in a hybrid working model in our Hamburg or Berlin offices or fully remote within Germany.

What You Will Do

• Execute queries across various databases, including Vertica, Trino, BigQuery, and Redash

• Write and maintain Python scripts to call APIs and gather data efficiently

• Establish and manage data flows to ensure a smooth and consistent data pipeline

• Design and build dashboards in Excel, G-Sheets, Tableau, and Looker to present data insights

• Work with self-developed data user interfaces

What You Will Bring

• Ongoing or completed degree preferably in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Economics or in a related field

• Strong English language skills, both written and verbal are essential for effective communication

• Proficiency in Excel/G-Sheets and SQL on an Intermediate/Expert level is a must have

• Knowledge in Python at least on a beginner level is highly desirable

• Familiarity with GitHub, TeamCity, Airflow is a significant advantage, but can be learned on the go

• Strong analytical, statistical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• You prioritize stable and correct results first and getting things done; the way of perfection often takes too long
