Your role and responsibilities

As a specialist in production technology, you drive improvements in the production of actuators and positioners, as well as in flow and temperature measurement in process automation, measurement technology, and analytics in Minden, NRW, Germany. In this role, you will focus on optimizing the manufacturing process in a cost-effective manner through innovation.
Role and Responsibilities

Design and development of electrical production and testing equipment
Analyzing and advancing processes with a view to improvements through automation and digitalization
Identifying potentials for new or revised systems to ensure cost reduction and stable production
Defining and optimizing the production process while considering material and investment budgets
Working in cross-functional teams (including production and supervisors) to implement the strategy of continuous improvement

Qualifications for the role

Completed degree in engineering (automation technology, electrical engineering, software engineering)
Profound knowledge in the development of production equipment
Basic knowledge in software development with Microsoft Visual Studio and C# .NET
Knowledge in PLC software development is desirable
Strong focus on safe work practices and commitment to adhering to all relevant workplace safety guidelines
Team player with excellent communication skills
Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken, and good English language skills, both written and spoken
