As a Sales Manager, you will drive the sales performance of process industries divisions digital portfolio including solutions for Process performance, Sustainability, Operational Excellence, Asset Performance and Cyber Security predominantly in German speaking Europe. You will also coach the local sales organization(s) for promoting and selling the Digital portfolio.
Business Line Digital Sales Director Europe
- Identifying new business opportunities and creating clear plans to convert them into sales
- Acting as capture team lead for sales opportunities
- Establishing strong customer relationships and maintaining a positive customer experience throughout the sales process, including post-sale
- Coordinate the bid and contract preparation activities together with B&P and contract management for your assigned sales opportunities
- Min. 5 years of experience in direct sales and/or sales management, working with customers’ top management (CEO, CFO, CIO) in areas like Pulp & Paper, Metals, Mining or similar industry
- Understanding of changes in Process Industry market as well as experience & understanding of industrial IT and Automation
- Capability of drawing conclusions from complex issues and finding new solutions to improve customer profitability; ability to understand bigger picture and interactions of several functions
- Experience of business development, account management and cross-selling; hunter mentality and hunger for sales
- A clear grasp of contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial and legal terms
- Exceptional communication and negotiating skills, a customer-focused mindset and a professional, “can-do” attitude
- Ability to motivate, coach and share the knowledge within organization
- A degree in IT-technology, Automation, Industrial Economics or similar
- Fluency in German and English
