The Ingredion Global Talent for Operations Program is designed to provide high-caliber early-in-career Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain talent with targeted developmental opportunities and accelerated global experiences to build a superior foundation in Operations and develop robust leadership capabilities. As a GTO Trainee, you will take part in a 36-month rotational program as part of a global cohort in one of two tracks: Manufacturing or Supply Chain. During the program, you will take on a new role every 12 months – building your technical skills and personal capabilities along the way through on-the-job learning and development, strategic project work, and instructor-led trainings focusing on a new theme each year:
- Year 1: Technical Foundations
- Year 2: Personal Development
- Year 3: Leadership Development
During this rotational development program, you will be required to broaden your professional network and breadth of operations experience by working in different roles, projects or across functions. As a GTO Trainee, you will also be enrolled in our GTO Learning Curriculum, which has three main components: Ingredion Technical, Functional and Business Content, University Partner-led Operations and Supply Chain Content, and Assessment-driven Personal and Leadership Development Content.
Manufacturing track rotations could include:
Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance / Reliability, EHSS, Quality, Production Planning, Lead / Supervisor, Corporate Engineering, Relevant International Assignment, Cross-Functional Assignment
Locations of the global cohort you will work together with:
North America (Canada / Mexico / United States), South America (Brazil / Colombia), APAC (China / Thailand), and EMEA (Germany / Pakistan).
Qualified candidates will have:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study specific to cohort track (Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, Supply Chain Management, Business or other related degrees)
- 0 – 3 years of professional experience working in an production environment
- Ability and willingness to be geographically mobile during the 3 years
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical information and prepare concisely written reports
- Proven analytical problem solving, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Strong command of the English language (verbal and written), basic knowledge of German
