Senior E-Commerce Operations Manager (all genders)

This is what you'll be doing
As Senior E-Commerce Operations Manager you are a vital and strategic part of the kurzgesagt product team. You ensure smooth online retail processes overseeing shop development, inventory management and customer experience measures.
You have a business mindset, make data-driven decisions and love taking on challenges with a team of highly motivated experts.
- Oversee and develop our online product shop end-to-end
- Develop measures to attract and retain customers and to optimize sales and relevant KPIs
- Work to improve customer satisfaction throughout the entire shopping experience
- Continuously shape our product portfolio in collaboration with our creative team
- Ensure efficient inventories and supplies at all times
- Lead team to meet KPIs and actively initiate measures to improve strategic marketing measures to drive traffic and sales
- Consolidate data within the team to create a strong basis for data driven decisions
- Provide insights and help lead production and procurement processes
- Lead a team of e-commerce experts and production managers
This is what you bring to the table
- Several years of e-commerce operations experience or comparable
- Very good understanding of basic e-commerce principles
- Very strong organizational skills
- Ability to lead a diverse team of topical experts
- Data-driven approach to decision-making; strong analytical skills
- Experienced handling external partners, suppliers and contractors
- Proactive, energetic, hands-on personality, who identifies with our brand and enjoys working with a motivated team
- Demonstrated proficiency in English, particularly for negotiations (C2 level)
- Authorized for unrestricted business travel to EU and US
- Living in Munich, or willing to relocate to Munich
