As a constantly growing company, Semikron Danfoss is looking for motivated employees who want to work with us on our success. We are currently seeking two Mechanical Engineers (m/f/d) for our state-of-the art power modules in Flensburg.

Job Responsibilities

As our new colleague, you will be responsible for the mechanical development of power electronic products and components for various automotive and industrial applications from concept to series production. You also design manufacturing fixtures or cooling devices for power modules and perform supporting mechanical calculations, simulations and measuring. To gain a better understanding of your design tasks, you will engage in technical discussions with other R&D teams as well as suppliers and customers.

Furthermore, you will also review and approve product and component drawings as well as initial samples. As we work in customer-oriented projects, you will continuously collaborate in cross-functional project teams, perform and accompany design-reviews and support our sales teams, production, quality and procurement.

To be successful in this role, we require a Master of Engineering degree in mechanics or mechatronics as well as knowledge of 3D CAD and PDM / PLM tools from having worked in similar role. We also highly appreciate experience in mechanical measurement technology and material properties.

Additionally, we would like you to have:

• In-depth knowledge of machined parts, plastic injection molded parts and sheet metal parts

• Experience with FMEA tools and design reviews

• Open-minded attitude and excellent communication skills

• Ability to think outside the box

• Good knowledge of spoken and written English and German
