The Role:

The Junior Brand Communication Manager supports the Senior Brand Communication Manager in the development of communication strategy, plans and execution of measures across paid, owned and earned/ offline & online for Germany.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Darmstadt (hybrid working model).

What you will do:

• Support in Brand Campaign Communication across the entire brand ecosystem (paid, owned, earned)
• Monitor, evaluate and interpret brand and competitor performance, KPI dashboarding and post campaign analysis (for Germany)
• Manage external agencies (Creative- & and Media Agencies) for Germany. Closely collaborate with other departments (sales, trade marketing, market research).
• Manage and coordinate German ATL Budget
• Support the overall John Frieda Brand Management Team based on pre-defined projects

What you will need:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Economy or comparable commercial education with focus on Marketing and/ or Communication
• First experience in Brand Communication Management and Digital Marketing working for a flourishing (inter)national company preferably in the branded FMCG sector.
• Expertise in beauty industry – ideally hair care category experience
• Good understanding of ATL as well as BTL marketing
• Familiarity/ proficiency with digital/ social channels, platforms, KPIs, best practices
• Creative Thinking
• Beauty and lifestyle affinity
• Business fluent in English and German
