System Electrification Engineer
Your Tasks:
Responsible for activities related to Design/Testing for BEV, FCEV and Heavy-Duty Trucks:
- Development of HV System Requirements for Design and Testing, including architecture compliancy, Homologation Requirements, electrical and mechanical integration Requirements.
- Definition of Integration Requirements as input for sub system (L3) and components SW/HW.
- support the DRE in creating the Product Cards (RFI/RFQ/Specs)
- Integration of the following part of HV system: Charging; Battery; Traction (e-axle incl. inverter); HV H&W; Fuel cell; Power distribution boxes; Auxiliaries (converters, braking resistors, compressors, electric power take-off); Mechatronic controls & software Requirements incl. calibration Requirements
- Coordination of simulation campaigns for electric components (energy storage system, power electronics, fuel cells, electric power take-off, …) with performance teams and partners/suppliers.
- HV Commissioning & End of Line Requirements: support the development of HV System safety procedure, which collects the test procedures required to verify the HV system in terms of “High Voltage (HV) Safety”, while showing the test environment to be set up at this purpose.
- HV System Testing: Development of system test cases starting from System Requirements; Scheduling the testing activities; Organize test cases into Test Plan, update and monitor the progress.
- Support Creation of benchmarking test list, support benchmarking activities with instrumentation setup and test planning, promote benchmarking activities.
- Responsible for the system FMEA based on D/P FMEAS of SW/HW components, HV system functions.
- Involved in item/document review and release process, Requirement document management responsible.
Your profile:
- Master's Degree or equivalent in appropriate field of study (electronics, informatics, electrical or mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation)
- 2 years of work experience as Electrification System Engineer or Technical function responsible.
- Proven hands-on experience with BEV or FCEV projects.
- Presence onsite is required.
- Availability to travel
- Knowledge of System Requirement tools and PDM / PLM
- Tools for data analysis (Concerto, Vector,..)
- Active listening, speaking and presentation skills in English.
- German or Italian language skills are a plus
