Join Siemens Digital Industries as IT Communications Manager, and shape the future strategy and culture of this unit together with and for the teams! You will co-create and implement the vision for Digital Industries IT alongside our Chief Information Officer, enabling other IT departments with shared cross services and delivering business impact.
What part will you play? - Increase business value by sharing the relevant stories: Leverage global teams for business consultancy, digitalization, user experience, and integration management to ensure the best use of IT for partners, customers, and users in various countries.
- Strengthen the strategic direction by creating ownership: Design and orchestrate the change journey for our global teams, thus supporting the strategy implementation together with our leadership team.
- Foster the image of a great place to be by spotlighting the people: Curate the journeys, contributions and successes of the teams, collaborate with inspiring role models and spread their messages across the people in our global organization.
What will be your fields of action?
- IT Strategy Communication and Change Management. You will be responsible for creating he respected concepts, aligning and implementing the approach and measuring the success.
- CIO Communication. You will prepare speeches and presentations, design a social media communications concept, organize internal events and measure the success.
- IT Portfolio Communication. You will curate the up-to-date projects and scalable approaches to present them in an innovative way, together with our global teams.
- Collaboration. You will become an active member in the Siemens IT Ecosystem and Communications ecosystem to amplify topics, targets and measures efficiently.
Measures of Success.
- Update the existing dashboard regularly
- Keep track on internal stakeholder satisfaction
- Monitor reaches and participation rates
- Increase employee engagement
- Derive respective measures from the KPIs in alignment with the team
What you need to make real what matters.
- University degree in communications/media and/or IT/economic related fields
- Proven long term experience in IT/technology communication, strategy communication, change management and project-/event management.
- Leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across different levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster interaction between business and IT teams.
- Prior experience in leading change initiatives, social media- and strategic communication campaigns.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization is a plus.
- Business fluency in English is mandatory, any other language skills are a plus.
