Solar Projects GmbH provides an extensive range of services, from greenfield development and turnkey construction to financing options and the operation of ground-mounted or floating solar parks and hybrid plants. Thanks to our global expertise, our local teams can cater to our customers’ needs and requirements.

Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our Purchasing Team in Freiburg and are currently looking for a Junior Purchasing Manager PV Modules (d|m|f).

• Executing operational purchasing processes within BayWa r.e.’s EMEA project business and supporting the purchasing of components on an operational level
• Assisting supplier communication and negotiations
• Responsibility for the management of documentation and contracts
• Providing support to all purchasing team interfaces, such as logistics, R&D, engineering, accounting, product development, quality, etc, and updating information for all projects within the EMEA region
• Researching, preparing data analyses and presentations for project progress, delivery of data for reporting etc.
• Management of approvals and internal processes
• Participating in supplier and networking meetings as well as conferences and preparing these meetings in consultation with the supervisor
• Attending national conferences and fairs for regular updates on latest trends and global economic developments

• Background/degree in engineering, business, science or comparable – specialization in solar energy is a plus
• Ideally first experience in the field of purchasing and/or commercial project management
• Distinct stakeholder-approach, coupled with a high sensitivity for different mentalities and practices in an international business environment
• Strong communication skills and a hands-on solution-oriented approach of work
• Working proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Business fluency in English; Chinese Mandarin language skills are a plus
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
