Role Overview

In this vital role, you will take full ownership of the Health and Safety functions for your assigned area. You will be responsible for enhancing the safety of our data centers, advancing a proactive safety culture, and ensuring the protection of every employee. You will work alongside experts in security, construction, and operations to maintain and evolve our global health and safety programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the implementation of high-level health and safety standards, policies, and management systems.
• Lead comprehensive safety audits across data centers to ensure strict compliance with life safety requirements.
• Develop strategic safety plans for on-site emergencies and business continuity.
• Analyze safety data and trends to provide actionable insights for regional leadership.
• Collaborate with internal partners and legal teams to interpret safety regulations and mitigate risks.
• Provide daily guidance and expert support to onsite teams and contractors.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering, EHS, or a related technical field.
• Mandatory qualification as a German Health & Safety Officer (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit).
• At least 3-5 years of professional field experience, specifically within the German market.
• Experience in high-stakes environments such as data centers, manufacturing, or construction.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor and implement complex health and safety laws.
