Join our research and development team in Schwabenheim, near Mainz, as a full-time Specialist Pharmacovigilance (m/f/d) for a period of 2 years as a parental leave replacement.
Your responsibilities:
- Scientific evaluation of global drug safety reports and electronic forwarding to the authorities within the legal deadlines, primarily for non-serious cases of selected products with a known spectrum of side effects
- Supporting the national PV teams and the product managers of the global PV team
- Collaboration in the preparation of periodic safety reports (PSUR) in consultation with the product managers or supervisors
- Archiving relevant PV documents and preparing protocols of meetings
- Maintaining list overviews, appointment lists and tracking sheets
- Entering side effects in the database for countries that do not have direct access to the global database
- Support and collaboration in the regular analysis of reports (trending and signaling), in consultation with the line manager
- Collaboration on projects depending on your expertise and the need
Your profile:
- You hold a university degree in scientific studies (e.g. veterinary medicine, biology or pharmacy), or a:
- Completed qualification as a veterinary assistant or veterinary technician with at least 2 years of professional experience in a veterinary clinic and/or industry
- Initial experience in the research and development environment of an international pharmaceutical company is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills and a precise way of working
- Strong communication skills and very good oral and written communication skills in English
