Our transportation logistics is part of the global logistics at HUGO BOSS and is responsible for the worldwide transportation flows from sourcing raw materials to distribution in the sales channels. Together, we shape transportation logistics processes and systems from conception and tendering to the operational management of transport service providers. To strengthen our growing department, we are looking for a dedicated and motivated Team Leader Global Transportation (m/f/d) to join us at the earliest opportunity. You will build a motivated team to collaboratively and sustainably optimize our global/international transportation network, considering lead times and costs.
What you can expect:
- Serve as the central interface to regional transportation teams (EMEA, NCSA, APAC).
- Support regional teams in achieving operational goals.
- Coordinate the rollout of company projects in transportation.
- Implement operational and digital standards.
- Establish a high-performance portfolio of transport service providers through regular tenders.
- Collaborate with regional transportation teams in this process.
- Monitor the competitiveness of service quality and costs.
- Consistently analyze transportation metrics.
- Establish standard reports.
- Create transparency along the inbound supply chain.
- Support efficient transportation planning.
Your profile:
- Successful completion of studies with a focus on transportation, logistics, supply chain management, or a comparable degree.
- Several years of professional experience (minimum of 7 years) in a logistic (global) working environment in trade, industry, or services.
- In-depth knowledge of textile logistics business processes and requirements, as well as international logistics.
- Several years of leadership experience.
- Process-oriented thinking and excellent project management skills.
- Willingness to travel.
- Strong negotiation skills and effective communication with external and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluent in both German and English, both spoken and written.
