Senior Engineer Site Assessment, Methods & Tools

YOUR TASKS

• Planning and execution of load calculation tasks as well as seismic load analyses for the site-specific load assessment

• Documentation of results and their assessment in technical reports.

• Support on certification and other projects especially those related to new methodologies development.

• Project work according to Nordex project management system. Support on the continuous development improvement of the tool chain and the process.

• Working on this position is possible at our Engineering offices in Hamburg or Rostock.

YOUR PROFILE

• M. Sc. or equivalent in Mechanical engineering/physics or similar with specialization dynamics and simulation.

• Experience with aerodynamic simulation tools e.g., FAST, Bladed, Alaska, HawcStab, Flex5.

• Knowledge of dynamic simulations of complex systems in an industrial application as well as for fatigue analysis methodologies.

• good skills on general analysis software (MATLAB, R…), programming skills (Python, .Net) or usage of automatization tools, C# preferable.

• Good team player and very good interpersonal skills, strong communicator. Dynamism and flexibility in a shifting daily work.

• Fluent English. Ideally skills in German and Spanish
