Data Analysis Lead (m/f/d)

As the Data Analysis Lead, you will guide our international team of data analysts across the Nordics, Benelux, and DACH regions. You will play a crucial role in advancing our data strategy and developing our team to meet their professional growth goals. Collaborating closely with various business and functional units, you will translate business needs into data experiments and derive actionable insights about our consumers, clients, and business processes.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage an international team of data analysts within the fintech domain
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, promoting continuous improvement and innovation
- Conduct complex data analyses and provide actionable insights to support business goals and strategic initiatives
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all analytical deliverables, maintaining high data quality standards
- Develop and maintain analysis and visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders using data storytelling techniques
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of data analysis projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and deadlines
- Collaborate with stakeholders from various business units (e.g., BNPL, collections) and functional units (e.g., Finance, Marketing, Risk Management) to understand data needs and deliver insights
- Provide decision support to business units, aiding in informed, data-driven decision-making
- Standardize data analysis methodologies, implementing best practices to ensure consistency across the team
- Contribute to data governance and strategy initiatives, supporting the organization’s data management and strategic goals

What you should bring:
- 5+ years of data analysis experience, including 2 years in a leadership role
- Master’s/MBA degree in a numerate subject (e.g., Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics)
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (Databricks, SQL, Python)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy, able to identify issues and conduct necessary analysis
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, with a passion for enabling team growth
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the financial industry, especially in Debt Collection and Buy Now, Pay Later
- Working experience in an agile, cross-functional organizational setup
- Team player, hands-on mentality, and result-oriented
