As the primary interface with the upstream supply chain, we as procurement function want to play a decisive role in shaping a sustainable value chain and realizing corporate sustainability targets. At Infineon, our procurement missions is to act in a green and socially responsible way. The supplier sustainability management team within the Procurement Center of Excellence impacts the Infineon's social and environmental targets and integrated them into the procurement processes and procedures. To strengthen our approaches in a dynamic environment and supporting the Infineon positioning as a leader in sustainable procurement, we are looking for a Supplier Sustainability Senior Specialist who will support the strategic development and implementation of our sustainable procurement framework.

In your new role you will:

• Act as a subject matter expert for sustainability within the procurement function and manage queries from the organization or external requests
• Support the annual Procurement CSR risk analysis based on Supply Chain Act requirements and implementation of sustainability risk management framework
• Develop global process designs proposals for decarbonization in the supply chain using state of the art data provider, IT tools or methods
• Support the integration of new requirements (regulations, stakeholders) into procurement processes in strong collaboration with Corporate Sustainability
• Define and organize Procurement Sustainability trainings for procurement colleagues and suppliers
• Support the strategic development of the sustainable procurement strategy and definition of new sustainability activities in the area of environmental and social sustainability

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Sustainability, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or comparable
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience in sustainability management, sustainable procurement, sustainability consulting or in a related field, semiconductor or automotive industry background is a plus
• Significant experience in implementing sustainability measures and legal requirements in a function by making use of efficient process design and digital tools in order to continuously improve sustainability KPIs
• Experience supporting due diligence regarding human rights and environmental protection in procurement function, especially related to regulatory requirements such as German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act
• Good experience in carbon strategy or carbon emissions management, including understanding of scope 3 emissions and reduction levers
• Ability to work in multiple projects simultaneously, including global communication, organization, time-management and problem-solving skills with a sincere interest in making a difference at the intersection of sustainability and procurement
• Very good communication skills in English, German as a plus
