Are you a native English speaker with a passion for working with children? Join us for an unforgettable adventure as a Camp Councelor at our English-language-immersion summer camp for children aged 4-7

Position: Camp Councelor
Location: Berlin Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, Germany
Dates: July 22 nd, 2024 – September 6 th, 2024 (You should have at least 2 weeks during this period)

We are on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals to join our team for our day camps running throughout July, August 2024. As a Camp Councelor, you will be entrusted with delivering captivating activities and excursions to international kids, ensuring their safety, well-being and facilitating an unforgettable language learning experience.

Requirements:

Native English speaker
Availability from July 22 nd to September 6th 2024 (at least 2 Weeks)
Pedagogical background or relevant social work qualifications
Positive attitude and interest in early childhood education and development
Prior teaching experience and/or experience working with children
Talents/interests that could benefit children (e.g., music, theatre, arts and crafts, sports)
Ability to organise and lead sports and activities programs
Valid work permit for freelance work in Germany or "kurzfristige Beschäftigung" (if applicable)
Minimum age of 18 years
Health insurance
Proof of measles immunization
Recent extended criminal record check and First-Aid certificate (not older than two years)

Responsibilities:

Conducting English language workshops
Supervising children during meal times
Supervising and encouraging children during free play
Supporting children's emotional, cognitive, motor, and linguistic development
Establishing strong relationships with children and parents
Designing and implementing age-appropriate educational activities
Serving as an authentic English-speaking role model
Assisting in the organisation and oversight of day camp activities
