What you’ll do:
As a ServiceNow Junior Application Developer with Wiley Edge, you’ll build complex applications in a global team environment.
You will work with stakeholders to understand their needs, design and build solutions, and implement and test them. You will also provide support and maintenance for the solutions they create.
How the Alumni program works:

- Get trained at Wiley Edge Academy in an online class for 4-8 weeks with other graduates. Students will learn to script in ServiceNow, including client-side and server-side scripting, and how to write, test, and debug scripts using real-world use cases.
- Join a Wiley Edge client for 15 months while receiving regular support and salary increases.
- The vast majority then convert to permanent employees with the client at the end of the program.
What you’ll learn at the Wiley Edge Academy:
- Troubleshoot bugs, fix defects and support users of applications developed by the enterprise application development team.
- Perform code reviews to ensure that the quality bar is being met regarding coding standards, integration, extensibility, and security.
- Assist in maintaining detailed documentation of application design and code generation techniques used to train other developers on ServiceNow system software.
- Develop enhancements for applications developed by the enterprise application development team.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related STEM major or Intensive Bootcamp
- Must be Fluent in German (B2+ or C1) and English
- 2:2 (UK) or 2:8 (Germany) and above. We look for potential, not prestige, but it’s important that you enjoy pushing yourself to pick up new ideas.
- Experience with Javascript or other OOP (object-oriented programming).
- Solid knowledge of software engineering principles (data structures, OOP, design patterns, multithreading).
- Skills in troubleshooting and debugging.
- Knowledge of database concepts (SQL, stored procs, schema design).
- An understanding of the formal SDLC (software development lifecycle).
- An understanding of test-driven development.
- The right to work without needing visa sponsorship.
