Join Zalando as a (Senior) Business Continuity Manager and take a leading role in refining the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework for Zalando Payments. Operating from Berlin, you will collaborate closely with the Group BCM team to conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA), perform BCM Risk Assessments, and spearhead crisis management exercises. This role is perfect for a proactive professional dedicated to ensuring organizational resilience within a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

As a key member of our team, you will drive the evolution of our BCM methodology. Your responsibilities extend from reporting and testing to ensuring our systems remain robust under pressure. WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO

• Drive the continuous improvement of the Business Continuity methodology.
• Plan and execute BIAs and risk assessments specifically for Zalando Payments.
• Develop and implement comprehensive business continuity and ICT recovery plans.
• Conduct audits and testing for internal teams and third-party service providers.
• Refine crisis management processes and maintain BCM awareness through targeted training.
• Provide expert advice to business units on all resilience-related topics.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as DORA and ZAG MaRisk.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

• You hold a degree in Law, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• You possess at least 3-5 years of professional experience in financial institutions, consulting, or specialized in-house functions.
• You have a solid understanding of BCM processes and standards like ISO 22301 or ISO 27301.
• You are a self-driven communicator, fluent in English, and capable of navigating complex, ambiguous environments.
• You enjoy building structures from the ground up and translating data into actionable strategic insights.
• Experience in managing BCM projects is considered a significant advantage.
