Your Role
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the assigned medical field
- Analyze their field for unmet needs, innovation options and disruption potentials, and conduct a screening of literature and IP in their assigned field
- Complements these competencies by establishing and developing a partner network within the Business Unit and the whole company, and with external partners, in particular a network of medical professionals and researchers
- Closely cooperate with product management in the development and implementation of a roadmap of innovative products and features
- Be the main interface of the Advanced Development to the respective business sector of the assigned medical field (key account)
- Together with other Advanced Development departments, propose and realize advanced projects
Your Profile
- University degree in natural sciences, engineering or a higher qualification in a medical field or medical technology. Additional business administration qualification (MBA) is beneficial
- Professional experience in biomedical technologies and applications, project management, medical device development (at least at junior level)
- Ideally expertise in neurosurgery, ENT, plastic and reconstructive or dental medicine respective relevant technologies and/or optics and physics
- Proven skills in communication with medical users and company-internal stakeholders
- A strategic mindset for developing application roadmaps with diverse teams
- Ideally experience with research projects or clinical trials with medical partners
- International cultural competencies
- Knowledge in usability, IP screening and protection, requirements engineering, risk management
- Fluent in English, good German and ideally other language would be advantageous
- The willingness and freedom to travel internationally
