Job Overview

• Develop algorithms for the detection/classification and prognosis estimation of prostate and renal carcinomas
• Utilize a high-performance cluster for running the data analysis pipeline
• Create, modify, and use neural networks
• Implement neural networks in clinical practice
• Share research findings through presentations and publications in leading conferences and high-impact journals
• Scientific staff is given sufficient time to carry out their own scientific work in accordance with their employment relationship

We are looking for

• Degree in computer science or a related field
• Expertise in Python & PyTorch
• Experience in developing open-source software tools
• Experience with Slurm and high-performance computing
• Experience with Docker
• We are looking for candidates who possess outstanding organizational and communication skills, show strong commitment to the team, and bring a high level of autonomy, initiative, and responsibility

Job Information

• Pay scale E13 according to TVöD- VKA- K. The grouping takes place under consideration of the qualification, the respective experience level is calculated from the completed professional years. The annual salary (gross) is given for a full-time position without annual bonus, allowances and additional services. You can find the collective agreement here.
• The working time is full-time with 39 hours per week
• At our company 30 days of vacation are standard
