Medical Imaging Data Scientist / Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

development and optimisation of versatile image processing algorithms
integration of algorithms into clinical practice (www.nora-imaging.org)
web-development of a server-client infrastructure
set-up and management of databases
co-support and maintenance of a SLURM cluster
development and validation of deep-learning algorithms

What we expect:

Master or PhD degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics or similar fields
you have profound experience at least in one of the following fields: image/signal processing and/or neuro-imaging; computer vision, machine learning, pattern recognition; web development (frontend and backend)
you feel at home in Linux environments using bash
you have profound or excellent skills in MATLAB, Python or R
you have profound or excellent skills in one of the following programming languages / frameworks: PHP, javascript, jquery, nodejs, MYSQL, mongodb, tensorflow
you are familiar with at least some of the following image processing frameworks: SPM, FSL, ANTS, openCV, or similar
you have the ability and enthusiasm to independently solve problems and learn new skills
you communicate directly with all stakeholders and know how to moderate discussions to prioritize topics and to extract relevant project requirements

The position is initially limited to 2 years with the option of extension.
