in Bonn

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an unlimited contract duration. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany.

As Coordinator Procurement HQ & Internal Service, you will ensure that the processes and tasks of both the Internal Service & Procurement HQ teams run smoothly by taking on coordination and organizational tasks at a specialist level and by managing information and communication across the board. This also includes the technical coordination and further development of employees in both teams.

Your responsibilities


Procurement HQ:
  • Technical coordination and further development of the Procurement Officers with regard to the elaboration, evaluation and preparation of technical topics (purchasing guidelines, procurement policy, templates, process visualizations, etc), appropriate provision of information, coordination with the Team Lead Procurement & Logistics International for similar and identical purchasing processes to ensure coherence and efficiency
  • Qualifying employees in the area of procurement by organizing virtual and classroom training in collaboration with the Procurement HQ team
  • Providing clients with general technical advice on suitability, compatibility, delivery time and price (including concept, material selection, etc. where applicable)
  • Purchasing goods and services of all kinds and as required for clients at HQ, taking sustainability criteria into account
  • Independent commercial processing (obtaining offers, evaluation, extensive coordination with the respective client, awarding, quality control, invoicing, submission of invoice via Doxis, documentation in SAP)
  • Supporting colleagues in the procurement of goods and services, according to specifications and requirements
  • Projects in the context of digitization (e.g. Doxis), support in the application
  • Active participation in the introduction of new software in the department, testing of functions
  • Economic responsibility for the release of orders above a certain threshold value

Internal Services:
  • Technical management of Internal Services (facility management, reception, property administration and student assistants)
  • General organization and responsibility for the operational processes in Internal Services in the Bonn and Berlin properties
  • Planning, organization and coordination of expansion and renovation measures in the Bonn and Berlin properties (in coordination with the Internal Services team)
  • Organization of Internal Services with regard to tendering and cooperation with service providers, maintenance of the database for framework agreements
  • Consideration of sustainability criteria when selecting service providers and suppliers for the requirements of Internal Services and when deciding on building conversion measures
  • Together with other units in the building (FIN and L&C): Development of a concept for the extended use of the property in Bonn by external companies / organizations

Your profile


  • A university or bachelor degree in a relevant field or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of relevant professional experience, e.g. in purchasing or internal service
  • Openness and affinity for digital solutions and process optimization
  • Strategic point of view
  • Very good written and spoken German and English language skills
