We are seeking qualified candidates for our plant in Bad Rappenau to fill the position:

Plant Maintenance Engineer (m/w/d)

Your responsibilities:

• You plan and carry out preventive maintenance of machinery, systems and utility services in accordance with HSE standards & requirements.
• You lead the team according to department and projects requirements.
• In case of defects, you contribute to root cause analysis, action plan set up and deploy within the corrective actions.
• You contribute to continuous improvement workshops; you propose measures to improve product and process quality.
• You ensure efficient repairs of assembly line and auxiliaries during downtime.
• You supervise external companies providing contract maintenance and repair.
• During new project implementation, you ensure that all standard maintenance procedures and best practices are taken into account and implemented.
• You participate to the fine tuning and final setting of new equipment in the production halls.
• You propose improvement in reduction of unscheduled machinery and equipment downtime.
• You ensure availability, retention and update of maintenance documentation.
• You ensure the availability and restocking of necessary spare parts for assembly machines.
• You ensure maintenance training.
• You are responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the work area (5 S).

Your profile:

• You have qualifications in electrics, mechanics or mechatronics
• You already have experience in maintenance of big production equipment
• Previous experience maintaining assembly robots would be a plus
• You are able to manage priorities and demonstrate a high level of reactivity and calm in critical situations.
• You have at least a good understanding of German (level B1)
