Our team is looking for an Associate Manager Operations (Finished vehicles) who will be responsible to manage external compounds, the internal yard & vehicle flow after production until the assigned delivery route in the most optimized way. The Associate manager Operations will lead several Supervisors in a (currently) 24/5 shift pattern. As Associate Manager Operations you will ensure the vehicle flow is maintained within short dwell & building up and maintaining operational capabilities of the Outbound team and corresponding infrastructure and equipment. You will be the linking point between the operations & dispatching team to manage dwell, pick-ups, and capacity of the yard & compound.

Accordingly, you will be driving the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of the operational yard & compound processes. The optimal candidate is a self-starter and can manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time.

• Creating &setting targets up for KPI`s within Outbound logistics
• Leading vehicle flow engineering with development and process improvements
• Creating, working and maintaining a crucial efficient flow of vehicles after production
• Responsible for a safe working enviroment, in which standards and working instructions are defined, followed and enforced
• Manage the internal yard and potential external compounds and rail yards
• Leading a team of internal yard drivers, yard jockeys, teamleads and supervisor to ensure the flow of finished vehicles within Gigafactory Berlin and our nearby distribution centers
• Communicating with Dispatching, Allocation, Quality and EOL for trucking plan & potential disruptions

• Good communication and writing skills in English & German (Other languages are a plus)
• Bachelor`s Degree in Business Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent working experience
• 5+ years of working experience (ideally in a logistic leadership or project management position)
• Driving license
• Ability to resolve and de-escalate conflicts
• Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt and improvise
• Values people, ethics, commitment, fun and an engaging culture
• Very good written and spoken German skills (C1+)/Enlish (B2+)
• Knwoledge of material flow & process planning experience (KAIZEN; Six Sigma)
• Planning and scheduling related consepts and strategies
• Experience within Production Planning, Supply Chain, Production scheduling or related environment
• Experience in ERP, Exel & PowerPoint
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
