Key Account Manager (m/f/d) Automotive / Non-German OEM
The position holder will be responsible for Non-German OEMs with a focus on EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa. We’re looking for someone living in any European Country.
- Definition and execution of the strategy for OEMs in our Automotive segment to achieve revenue growth through contracts and necessary approvals
- Development and communication of plans for Key Accounts
- Monitoring of the strategy progress, success and financial outcome
- Identify corrective actions and initiation of improvements
- Identify and prioritize new business opportunities related to OEMs, segments, and tiers to achieve sales goals
- Analyze finances to uncover growth opportunities with OEMs, segments, and countries
- Comprehension of the Key Accounts’ needs and joint business opportunities, monitor market trends, and OEM strategies.
- Establishment of a strong relationships with key representatives at various levels
- Translation of approvals into clear sales plans, introduction of new products
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams in Sales, R&D, Marketing and Product Development
- Continuous Improvement of Key Account Management skills throughout the organization
- Representation of Akzo Nobel in relevant industry associations
- Solid experience in B2B key account management
- First experience in the automotive industry
- Basic understanding of interdisciplinary processes and financial concepts related to sales and cost of service delivery
- Good knowledge of key financial KPIs and profit and loss (P+L) to use them as a basis for optimal business decisions
- Good project management skills
- Strong commercial and business management acumen
- Distinctive communication and presentation skills
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building
- Ability to create Value Added Propositions
- Independent, organized, and effective / successful way of working
- High goal orientation
- Fluent in English; Spanish and/or French as second language is a nice to have but not a must
