The work schedule for this position is:
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
The incumbent performs the duties of Security Chauffeur, driving American and German manufactured sedans, vans, Lightly Armored Vehicles (LAV's) and Fully Armored Vehicles (FAV's). Independently plans routes of travel and detours; maintains communications with the Control Officer with updates on location and arrivals/departures; and exercises defensive driving tactics as needed. The Chauffeur familiarizes themselves with special security precautions in effect at residences and offices of personages whom the Section Counselor wants to visit throughout the Federal Republic of Germany. The incumbent primarily drives the Counselor.

Must have two years of professional driver experience driving as a chauffeur for a senior level official or private sector equivalent.
Completion of secondary school (German: Realschule, America: American High School Diploma or GED) is required.
LANGUAGE: please address both language requirements in your ERA application.
Position requires good working knowledge language skills in English (speaking/reading/writing).

- Must have valid (German/EU), current license for class B. (German/EU driver's license for Class C1 is necessary but not considered a pre- employment requirement. Gaining the license may become subject to post-entry training - given the availability of funding by the employer). - (please submit front and back of the license)
- Must possess FZF Personenbeförderungsschein as per local requirements for Berlin.
- Must have had a valid driver's license for a minimum of five (5) years.
This may be tested.
