(Senior) Product Specialist, CFD

Job Summary:

What You Will Do:

• Run a wide variety of flow and thermal simulations

• Testing of new solver physics and features

• Collaborate with development and QA teams to verify test cases.

• Conversion of tutorial and validation cases to latest GUI interfaces

• Development of Altair CFD supporting collateral and test cases

• Create media for marketing purposes

What You Will Need:

Basics:

• Hold a master’s or doctoral degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering

• Strong fundamental understanding of Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer

• Familiarity with commercial CFD applications

• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

• Self-motivation and the ability to interface with multiple teams

• A can-succeed attitude and work ethic

Preferred:

• Familiarity with ALTAIR engineering software products

• Familiarity with commercial CAD applications

• Custom programming experience (Python, C)
