Purpose of the position

The Regional Sales Manager reports to the Manager, Sales, DACH.

The Regional Sales Manager receives full regional responsibility for channel and end customer sales in the sales region assigned to him and will manage and develop the reseller’s capacity, capabilities and commitment in line with company strategy and sales pipeline to hit or exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets.

Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Education and Business market

• Increasing SMART's market share by identifying and exploiting growth potential, acquiring and developing new resellers and end customers, and executing and implementing sales and marketing programs.
• Acquisition of new resellers for the educational and business customer market segments.
• End customer acquisition for the education and business market segments.
• Focus on large and strategically important resellers and end customers.

Vertrieb Bildungs- und Geschäftskunden

• Erhöhung des Marktanteils von SMART durch Identifizierung und Ausschöpfung von Wachstumspotenzial, Acquisition und Entwicklung neuer Fachhandelspartner und Endkunden sowie Durchführung und Implementierung von Verkaufs- und Marketingprogrammen.
• Akquise neuer Fachhandelspartner in den Marktsegmenten Bildung- und Geschäftskunden.
• Endkundenakquise für die Marktsegmente Education und Business.
• Konzentration auf große und strategisch wichtige Fachhandelspartner und Endkunden.

Channel Management

• Establish strong partnership with the channel in assigned region to build a win-win-strategy, joint sales and marketing plans and drive strong execution.
• Develop and execute the Sales strategy in region in the indirect sales model.
• Drive the implementation and execution of SMART Partner Program
• Develop strong joint business plan with the top resellers.
• Build the skills and capabilities in the channel about SMART solutions.
• Engage with the channel and the SMART team to develop strong lead generation activities.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of channel regularly to maximize coverage in assigned region.
• Implement agreements and target setting with Platinum and selected Gold resellers in combination with managing revenue growth and target achievement
• Drive QBRs with Platinum and Gold resellers to ensure alignment and fast execution.
• Planning and executing strategies for maximizing sales while minimizing potential channel conflicts
• Ensure that the executives and sales staff for each of the resellers are adequately informed of and trained on SMART's complete offering of programs and products.
• Resolving potential channel partner issues using ethical, practical and fair methods
• Support of channel partners at local trade shows, seminars, conferences and customer events as needed.
• Performing other duties as required

Channel Management

• Aufbau einer starken Partnerschaft mit dem Fachhandelskanal in der zugewiesenen Region, um eine Win-Win-Strategie sowie gemeinsame Vertriebs- und Marketingpläne zu entwickeln.
• Entwicklung und Umsetzung einer Vertriebsstrategie in der Region im indirekten Vertriebsmodell.
• Implementierung und Umsetzung des SMART Partner-Programms.
• Entwicklung eines gemeinsamen Geschäftsplans mit den wichtigsten Fachhändlern.
• Aufbau und Sicherstellung der Ausbildung von Fachhändlern über SMART-Lösungen.
• Zusammenarbeit mit dem Fachhandelskanal sowie dem SMART-Team, um Lead Generierungskampagnen und Aktivitäten zu entwickeln.
• Regelmäßige Überprüfung der Effektivität des SMART Fachhandels zur Optimierung und
• Maximierung der Fachhandelsabdeckung in der zugewiesenen Region.
• Implementierung der Umsatzvereinbarungen mit den Platin- und ausgewählten Gold Partnern in Kombination mit regelmäßiger Kontrolle der Umsatzentwicklung und Zielerreichung.
• Vorbereitung und Durchführung von QBRs mit den Platinum und Gold Partnern.
• Planung und Umsetzung von Strategien zur Umsatzmaximierung unter Vermeidung von Chann
