Within the area of Corporate Finance and Controlling, Corporate Accounting & Controlling department, we are looking at our headquarters in Melsungen for a Reporting Specialist (f/m/d) for the area Sustainability Analytics & Reporting.
At the end of 2022, the European Union adopted the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). According to this directive, even unlisted companies such as B. Braun have to integrate their sustainability report into their audited annual financial statements from fiscal year 2025. In the Sustainability reporting & controlling team, we will report sustainability related data and information. Our team is responsible for the content and data of the sustainability report in accordance with the CSRD as part of the B. Braun Group's annual report from the financial year 2024 onwards.
- Implementation of the retrospective recording of sustainability-related information as part of the CSRD reporting obligation
- Contact person (f/m/d) for domestic and foreign group companies in technical reporting issues
- Preparation and analysis of sustainability related information on a quarterly and annual basis
- Conceptual support in the development of topics for a new CSRD-compliant sustainability report in cooperation with the sustainability department and corporate communications
- Sustainability department and corporate communications Team member for ensuring CSRD compliant disclosures in the Annual Report once CSRD has become effective.
- Cooperation with the external auditor and coordination of sustainability-related reporting requirements as part of the annual audit
- Collaboration on the global implementation of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) within the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
- Technical and administrative support for the group reporting software
- bachelor's degree in business administration with focus in accounting, controlling or sustainability management
- At least two years of professional experience, preferably in the described area of responsibility and profound understanding of processes
- Knowledge of the CSRD (ESRS Standards) is an advantage
- Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel
- Software knowledge of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), SAP and WeSustain desirable
- You have strong teamwork and communication skills
- Analytic thinking and structured working define you as well as an affinity for numbers
- You have a solid understanding of the different topics related to sustainability
- Business fluent in German and English
