Job Purpose/Role

• Design and build cryptographic services to enhance the security of our products, using technologies and tools of choice
• Implement solutions using Hardware Security Modules in Cloud and On-Prem environments
• Work in a cross-functional XP team and practice pair programming
• Ensure high software quality standards through TDD and test automation
• Monitor run time behavior to predict and resolve problems before they occur
• Implement and act upon the DevOps best practices

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

• Excellent skills in C, Java and at least one more programming language
• Experience in designing and implementing security and/or cryptography systems
• Proficiency in software engineering methods and cloud technologies
• Experience with TDD and CI/CD
• Previous experience with operations and incident response in a DevOps team is beneficial
• Strong communication skills in English - feeling confident with German is a plus
• Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
