Support manaTec GmbH, a young IT start-up from Dresden. For our team we are looking for a motivated newcomer for the technical support for the duration of 5 - 6 months (shorter internship phases are also possible after individual arrangement). In joint projects you will contribute to the design of open source-based ERP solutions. Task description

• Assistance of the support team in case of malfunctions within the scope of 1st and 2nd level support
• Assistance with on-site user support and remote solutions
• Communication with customers and users on the phone and in on-site support
• Installation of operating system and user software as well as subsequent instruction of the users
• Recording and documentation of monitoring and reporting processes
• Maintenance of data in the ticket system

Requirements

• Enrolled student in the Computer Science course of studies
• Alternatively, a completed vocational training in the IT sector with initial work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Windows 7 client and server 2008/2012 as well as Linux (Ubuntu) server knowledge
• Knowledge of IP telephony
• Professional expertise in dealing with hardware
• Knowledge of the user help desk
