Checking, accounting and booking invoices are your passion? Then start with us in a full-time employment for KWS Berlin GmbH as an Accounts Payable Accountant (m/f/d) for the business unit in Brazil at our central location in Berlin Schöneberg.

You will be responsible for:

• Ensure the delivery of transactional account payable services & take charge of processing the received incoming documents and initiate payments of invoices, expenses and dunning letters.
• Perform the reconciliation of vendor statements and solve upcoming discrepancies and process high-volume purchase invoices and credit notes including the general ledger coding.
• Reconcile credit card and corporate travel accounts as well as manage vendor payments to ensure we honor payment terms.
• In addition, you ensure all queries are resolved and analyze and validate routine expenditure, including expenses.
• You will also work with other finance teams to streamline processes and procedures.

Bring in your strengths:

• You have completed an apprenticeship or an academic degree in Business Administration/Economics/Finance/equivalent.
• Moreover, you have experience in the field of Finance – especially in Accounting.
• Portugese on mother tongue level and fluent English language skills are necessary (written and spoken)
• Understanding of general ledger, including coding AP invoices, fixed assets and inter-company recharges
• Experience in working in an international Shared Service organization is an advantage.
• You are able to take over multiple tasks in parallel.
• You can meet tight deadlines and manage high volume transactions with high customer orientation & extraordinary service attitude.
• Good communication skills and cooperative work style in a team distinguish you
