Duties

Serves as the 7th Army ISR Directorate Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO).
Guides and assists on foreign disclosure activities and ensures terms, conditions and requirements are in conformance with National Disclosure Policy and applicable Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs).
Assists the 7th Army ISR Directorate Special Security Officer and Personnel Security Section as needed.
Deploys with the 7th Army Operational Command Post as the Foreign Disclosure Officer, ensuring the timely sharing of classified military information with coalition partners.
Implements Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) with other agencies as necessary to facilitate the rapid processing of disclosure requests.
Works with G2 Directorate Security Branch to ensure the proper handling, marking, transportation, and destruction of all classified military information.

Conditions of Employment

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel may be required 25% or less of the time.
This position is designated as a KEY position, meaning the position cannot be vacated during war or a national emergency without seriously impairing the mission.
This position has been identified for the Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification Program. See addition information in qualification section.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position
