Our Great Opportunity
Dedicated Networks, as part of the recently established new Business Area Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS), is set up to bring together the opportunities in the Enterprise segment leveraging on the 5G capabilities in our portfolio. The number of projects and customer trials is growing exponentially.
We are now looking for a Services and Operations engineer to strengthen our diverse technical team. In your role, you will work with the industrialization of RAN deployment assets and support our customers during the deployment process using those assets. This requires close cooperation with the R&D teams of our system, and you will be a key person to drive the industrialization for the handling of the RAN during system deployment and operation.
We organize our work in multi-functional teams in which continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing are part of the daily work.

These interesting tasks and activities await you:
Create and update RAN installation instructions and configuration templates - Support our customers during pilot delivery projects and other ‘first-time’ activities
- Assess customer-specific requirements and develop proposals on how those can be fulfilled with our standard solution
- Execute feature trial activities with selected customer
- Troubleshoot and fix problems in the e2e system e.g. with the integration of industrial devices to our solutions
- Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
- Develop competence in the technical domain
You bring the following knowledge and experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, math, scientific or technical field, and several years of experience in RAN (5G) deployment projects - Domain experience:
- Radio configuration design including RAN panning, RBS design, and site design
- Scripting knowledge for manipulation of Radio configuration templates: XML, NETCONF
- Experience in RAN NW rollout projects is a plus
- Experience with Cloud RAN technology is a merit
- Interest in working with people and in networking
- Ability to innovate, adapt and respond to change
- Knowledge of how to deliver results and meet customer expectations
- Proficiency in English is a must, German skills are an advantage
