Description

We are looking for an:

Infotainment System Engineer. Focus on Connectivity in Ingolstadt/Stuttgart

Your tasks:

Develop feature functionality, system architecture and customer use cases
Formulate and analyze software requirements and implement design modifications to eliminate cause of malfunctions or changes in system requirements
End-2-End Commissioning for Connect Services on stationary and moving vehicles
Define system interfaces between key components
Manage feature plan implementation
Synchronize and align with customer
Supports the development of advanced infotainment features/functions
Develop test methods and procedures
Project scheduling, management and issue tracking.
Tracing of connect-relevant control devices in the event of problems
Address connection abnormalities / errors to those responsible
Technical reports ongoing expansion and maintenance of the documentation during the project phases

Job requirements

Your Profile:

Min 2 years' experience in Embedded Products, Media Infotainment, Audio, VR, Bluetooth, CAN Connectivity, HMI Tuner, Navigation or any other automotive related features.
Experience in Software Development Life Cycle such as Systems engineering, integration and testing in related domains.
Expert knowledge of VW-specific online interfaces integration and testing in related domains.
Expertise of the VW E2E system architecture for online functions
Knowledge of Atlassian Framework (Jira and Confluence, KPM, Doris, DOORS, System42)
Expert knowledge for mobile online services (CarNet/We)
Knowledge of Automotive Architectures and communication protocols (CAN/MOST/ETHERNET)
Experience in backend support and development
Experience in the area test execution-management
Knowledge and Experience with both Waterfall and Agile Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of Change Management flow.
Programming languages: C, C++, Java, Python.
Good knowledge of Unix/Linux, in particular bash/shell scripting.
English and German mandatory. Italian is a plus
