Your area of work
Derivatives Trading Operations is responsible to ensure fair and orderly trading at the Eurex Derivatives Market. Stable and reliable trading services are key for our world-wide customers. Trading Operations is a key department with close contact to all relevant external and internal stakeholders like Trading Clients, Key Account Management, Product Development, Trading Design and Clearing.

As a Derivatives Trading Operations Specialist (f/m/d) you will be responsible for efficient functional operations within Market Supervision. Your main responsibilities include derivatives market monitoring, providing support to trading members on the customer helpdesk, calculating settlement prices and engaging in project work like business development.

Your responsibilities

• Supervision of the derivatives market using the Eurex T7 trading system and monitoring of the trading activity of Eurex members
• Execute operational tasks like market opening, processing volatility interruptions, evaluating mistrade claims and maintaining pricing parameters, etc.
• Customer service for functional and trading-related requests by Eurex members via phone and email
• Determination of daily and final settlement prices mainly for futures products traded at Eurex
• Theoretical pricing for options and futures, based on internal pricing systems or using vendor systems like Bloomberg and Reuters
• Participation in ongoing internal and external projects, such as system development, automation initiatives, quality assurance and development of new markets and asset classes

Your profile

• You have completed your university degree in finance or comparable education
• You have several years of relevant professional experience in Operations or a trading-related environment
• You have a solid knowledge of cash and derivatives markets, in-depth understanding of derivatives pricing models and proficiency in valuation techniques
• You also have creative and analytical problem-solving skills as well as the strong ability to work diligently under pressure
• You are a self-motivated and strong team player able to work in a fast-paced trading environment in various shifts
• You have experience in communication with demanding customers in the financial industry is desirable
• You are proficient in written and spoken English and German
